The International Builders Show (IBS) is one of the nation’s largest conventions and is the pinnacle of trade shows within the construction industry, as it attracts both vendors and attendees from every phase of the construction industry, and from across the globe. Each year, since 1984, the NAHB along with partners, set out to build The New American Home (TNAH), unveiling it during the annual IBS. TNAH showcases the most significant developments in home building, allowing industry professionals to glean new ideas that they can replicate within their own building projects. The home incorporates elements from the NAHB Green Building Standard and embodies only the highest levels of quality, safety, aesthetics, and sustainability. This year, Natural Paving USA, was selected to showcase in TNAH 2018, as it was recognized that the product lines offered fit within the high standards the NAHB sets forth for the home.
The New American Home 2018 was able to fully incorporate the entire product line offered by Natural Paving USA, throughout its impressively sprawling 65,000 square foot lot. To create the classic yet modern sense felt through the home, the design team chose grey tones for all the pavers which not only tied the different paver styles together, but also echoed the color pallet found within the home. Blending classic Mediterranean design with fresh modern elements, the hardscape products naturally fit right in with the design concept.
During the course of the 2018 International Builders Show, when Architects, Builders, and Landscape professionals got a chance to tour TNAH they were repeatedly impressed; from the point of arrival guests are greeted with De Terra Promenade pavers, which cover approximately 10,000 square feet of driveway, followed by Vitripiazza Porcelain in the entryway, patio, courtyard, and even internally throughout the home. The terraced backyard living areas combine 224 massive solid stone Step Treads with 1,000 linear feet of Pool Coping that lead:
“to the beauty of the 2100 square foot pool deck for which the Premiastone pavers create a space that is both spectacular visually and functional!”.
